Is it just me or does anyone else feel the pain more when their 200 takes a Dirt-nap?

I'm not sure if its because of its size (Its just sooo Cute!!!)... or because its the Heli i'm focused on at the moment.. or because of the good vibes in this sub-forum  ... All i know is its certainly more painful when the 200 eats dirt than any other Heli i have owned until now.

I had a Comedy moment on Saturday ( wish it had been captured on video!!!)... i suffer bad from Hay-Fever and was just doing some v-close figure 8's when i got a bad ATTACK!! I screwed up my eyes and sneezed a few times... when i regained my senses.. surprise.. surprise ... the gaui was in the Dirt ... jittering :arggg: Not sure if it was because i had my eyes closed or because of involantary hand movements;)... all i know was i toasted a set of Mixer Arms, blade Grip bolts and a set of Woodies.. but somehow the pain felt worse than the 1hr fix time and £20 repair charges could account for!!

The upside was that it forced me to spend a little more time with my 'Mutt' on Sunday. First of all, it made me appreciate how good the Logictech LTG-2100T & LTS-3100G Combo is... and it also showed that having a slightly 'Slower' Heli really help the Learning curve!! I decided to spend some money on the Dog this evening and treated it to a JR 770T & DS3400 from ebay for $112... anyone have any experience with this Gyro? (Translated.... Can you guys confirm i got a 'Deal' here?)

Funny, I feel just the opposite.

As much as I love my Gaui, I don't feel the pain when I crash it.
It is just repair and repeat.

When I crashed my T-rex for the first time after 95 flights, I was sooo sad.

I don't know about the "more" part, because this is my only heli, but I HATE crashing it. I haven't had a catastrophic crash -- you know, the kind where things just explode -- but it doesn't matter; even in a small mishap I feel an injury.

I'm working very hard to not get impatient and outfly my skills -- just take baby steps, master one thing before moving to the next -- just like when I learned to fly full-size planes. After a couple dozen packs without incident, Saturday eve I turned it for a nose-right hover, overcorrected the cyclic (like, moved the stick 1mm instead of .5mm!) and the rotor struck -- of all things -- the ping-pong-ball training wheel! POW!

Must have caught it just right (or wrong), because for such a benign strike it did a surprising amount of damage -- mixer arms, washout arms -- fairly expensive bits -- and assorted links and screws. Interesting that the blades themselves were undamaged. Go figure.

Anyway, I HATE crashes.

Me too. Refer to the thread 'Gaui Easier to Crash...?'. I hate to crash any of my helis none the less.

I hate crashing any helicopter. I especialy hate crashing the 200. Not because it's exspensive to repair it just eats into my flying time :arggg:

a few 90 size crashes and the 200 becomes easy to crash, thats why I like it, I can fly it like I stole it so to speak, If I crash i dont have to spend 115$ on blades alone.

I'll echo that one, $80 to $100 for a set of mains sheesh! Taco a pack worth the price of a new 200 chassis! Ludicrous!!!

I do hate when good equipment get's hurt, but I've got to the point where I feel my obedient little critter is just trying to teach me (Sensei).

I do like the idea of a shrine, incense, candles old build photos....
