Fentress / VA gathering

Hello everyone ! I am calling for a gathering out at Fentress this Sat 15- Sunday16. IF you need to sign up for NALF Fentress RC Pilots's license there will be no cost and No Club Fee, but I need proof of your current AMA. This will be a relax atmosphere, low keys, no prizes, no food, no T-shirts...Zero, Zip, None.
Everybody is invited including our neighbors pilots.
I am going to need you guys help me build a strong rc helicopter group for the benefit of all. One for all and all for one !
We will continue to have a gathering every weekend. Hope to see you all out there.

POS-NALF FENTRESS RC PROGRAM
The purpose of the NALF Fentress RC pilot Brief is to promulgate pilot awareness. AS well as being familiar with the rules and regulations of flying so that you will be safe when doing so. This is MANDATORY no exception !!!
For Helicopters :
. Demonstrate knowledge of sign in and out procedures on the quarterdeck
. Possess current AMA card
. Demonstrate proper pitting of aircraft regarding fueling and starting of aircraft
. Perform proper taxi in and out of the pit area to and from the flight line
. Possesses their own frequency pin with name and channel clearly visible ( IE close-pin or hanging badge )
. Demonstrate proper take off and hover
. Demonstrate a control figure 8's forward flight
. Auto-rotation
. Demonstrate proper " Tagging Out " of frequency channel on the frequency board

They have to show me either a current AMA card or a military ID card (active duty or reitred). For those who don't have a Fentress card, please get a copy of the Pilot Proficiency Program sheets and a blank Fentress card from the Quarter Deck when you sign in (I ran out of my extra blank copies). See me for the details and briefing and I will sign your card so you can fly there. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hey Chris & Robert !

I would love to drive down one weekend ........or more but I have class on Thursday,Friday and Saturday untill December .

I plan to to make some road trips back home/ toVa,Beach, this spring and summer. :hug:
