Dont do it! I have one.. so does a friend.. we don't use them anymore.
If you can save a little more for something like the Kong Power-100W6 (http://www.readyheli.com/Kong_Power_Charger_KP_100W6_p/kp-100w6.htm) or Maxpro X6 (http://www.rc-tek.com/us_store/maxpro-intelligent-battery-chargers-balancers-c30.html) you'll be much much happier. I promise!! I have the maxpro and am completely happy with it. Can charge 2 3s packs at a time or a single 6s.

My DN charger was overcharging my packs (4.25 per cell). A friends was charging his to 4.3v per cell.

JE,

You know that you can adjust the "4.2 volt" level don't you - I have done so on mine and it now charges to about 4.18 / 4.19 volts. You can do this on a cell-by-cell basis. However agree on the Maxpro, very nice piece of kit.

Yes I have.. and its a pain in the ass. One pack perfect.. next pack would be out. So you have to compromise.
The last thing someone needs to do is short out something on the board with the screw driver they're using to adjust the pot.. I decided to never suggested it and removed the pictures from my gallery showing how to do it.

Recently read a thread from the mfr that said they had problems with some of the first ones....I am going to assume the new ones have been fixed.

I use it as an addition to the several charger I already have....good price.

Well...

I patiently waited 15 %#%#$% days for my DN charger to arrive...( really spoiled by RH and HD with 3 day shipping) but since BPP was paying the freight...I couldn't say much.....well it finally arrives today.....and it's the wrong freaking charger :arggg::arggg:

Some Hyperion piece of crap 0606i.....won't even work on my power supply.....says voltage is too hight......15v on the nose and it won't take it.....

well I sent them E mail tonight.....we'll see what kind of customer service they have.

I have been waiting two weeks...and get the wrong item.....now I suppose they will want me to pay for return shipping before I can get what I ordered so we are looking at another 2 - 3 weeks argh !!!:bomb:

Their website says they will reply within 48 hrs..... we'll se if they come anywhere close to the heli shops in satisfying customers.

By the way...went on the other heli site R*G and the only 550 thread with a gazillion posts has not a had a post since yesterday at 4:30PM !!! Can you imagine that......those guys are not 550 lovers....imagine loggin onto HF and not seeing a single post for over a day !!! it would be like "Withdrawall" (spelling?) It's bad enough as it is that you guys take so damn long to post back......I must check the site about 4 billion times a day......come on get with it...keep the posts coming.....

Mike
