Hey Guys
Take a look at these old blades from Jungle Bobs Eco 8
Not sure if they are carbon or Fibreglass but they are 500mm long and have the same blade root and bolt hole dims.
They appear to be symetrical apart from the curved tips but i cant be 100% sure
I have balanced them but they were very close
What do you think should we try them out??
I have been meaning to post some pics for ages!

Blimy....it's a bloody Boomerang blade !! :tongue
I have never see one like that, but if it's the right size....and you need a set....I would try it. If they seem sturdy enough.

i reckon some kind of hover blade? the twist at the tips would add to stability but hard to work out what would happen when you start moving......give em a whirl bro

Now way, use JB's helo instead; make him sweat it while he's 'vacationing' in the UK!
Yeah, funky blades; I look forward to hearing your report back on them.
Happy Flying!

I THINK DREW is a dead man!! Whose side are you on anyhow???? I have enough problems with the boy 'Wazzer' without any input from you......thanks very much!! I've been poisoned, stolen from, cajouled into parting with quality kit, threatened to be pushed into a volcano, promised to the heli gods....read the threads man! Im being persecuted.
I even think he was instrumental in getting me to come to the UK so he could advance his flying in my absence!
Those 'wobbly' blades have not been flown (to my knowledge) I got them cheap for an Eco 8 a while back and I think they were sold to me as 'carbons'. On Jumbo's, and other aircraft, the dyhederal blade tips give extended flight and better fuel efficiency....so, who knows?

So if he tests them and doesn't dump it then that's OK !! Sounds like a "go" to me Ben - get stuck in

Mike! I fly regularily with Ben! At a recent fly he managed to get slightly too nose in and performed an airbourne chicken dance which seriously made me select an escape route! (which way to run).
Now if 'he goes for it' as you bravely suggest...at what point will he know he is going to (or not) dump it!?!

I also had another very near miss last week doing figure eights got myself completely nose in and nose down
My newly colored blades look pretty at that angle i was thinking right before i realised i didn't know which way to pull the sticks!!!!:wow2:
I managed a quite convincing full power climb out with full back elevator and saved it with plenty of height. Was a bit shaky afterwards through!!
I know.... I'll compromise I'll try those blades on Bobs SEV2 instead of his Hurry!! :flamedevil

Hmm... I can hover nose in...even land nose in... not that hard really...lots and lots of sim time before I tried for real though...enough sim time that it was second nature...and then some more for good measure :D

Dont' we all - I also learned nose-in on Phoenix and now have no problems with it, however I still have a slight issue with the heli facing me with it's tail between 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock

It's not down to the batteries, but these strange blades that I've got with bent-up ends.
