Hey!
I've got a question about Outrage 6sp1-2500mah battery...
Can I fast-charge it at 2C or even 2.5C?
Is 2C equal to 5A for this battery and 2.5C is equal to 6.25A respectively?
Am i missing something?
Thanks in advance!!!!

From what I've experienced packs don't last long at high rate charges (above 1c).
2200mah charge at 2.2 amps
3200mah charge at 3.2 amps
5000mah charge at 5 amps.
Thats just me though. :)

and yes.. 2c would be 5amps with that pack.

Thanks JaggedEdge.
How "bad" is charging at 2C? How badly will it affect the life of the pack?
Anyone?
I can't speak for those packs in particular, but from what I have heard you can shorten the life of the pack by about 30% by charging it above the 1C rate.

I have charged packs at 2c and can tell you I shorten the life to about 150 cycles or so. I dont think its worth it.

The 6S 1300 packs that Charley had us testing when Steve L and Steven were flying the Poop out of the prototype G5 were all charged at 2C and some had 80-100 cycles with no loss of power, I usually break our packs in with 3 or 4 charges at 1C and then bump them to 2C, man you should have seen the charging setup we had at Huntsville, have dozen TP1010C charges going all weekend keeping all the packs charged.

Oh I saw it. There was a table full of chargers and packs in constant use. I was thinking "can anyone say fire hazard". :YeaBaby:
