Hello,

I'm setting up my Gaui 200. I'm confused with the correct tail blade direction. The main blades appear to go clockwise. With a belt driven system, the tail blades automatically spin clockwise too. However, the blades looks like they are installed backwards. I've attached an image of my current tail blades. Can someone confirm this is correct?

I also have the gyro GY401 direction set to normal (not reverse). If this is a problem please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Flip the belt over to change the rotation direction of the TR. Those blades are correct for counterclockwise rotation.

Can't tell you if the 401 reversing is correct or not. You'll need to verify the direction of both the rudder channel AND the gyro before you fly. If the 401 is upside down, under the tailboom, it'll probably need to be reversed. If it's right side up, it probably wont.

Thanks Skiddz,

Bingo! with the belt flipping. That's where I went wrong with the tail assembly. Big thanks for the fix. I just found a gyro video on this site that showed me how to setup the gyro. So, I'm straight with the gyro and the rotation.

There's a dedicated Gaui 200 sub forum here at Helifreak where you'll be able to get lots of help with your set up etc. Scroll down.

Cool, now go flog the thing mercilessly until it hits the ground or you run out of electrons. :)
