GAS?

Hey guys
I am new to the heli scene and I have just purchaced a Trex 600 Nitro Pro. I keep reading about shortages on gas .... Should I be stockpiling gas so that I will be able to fly in a month or two? I am putting together my heli a piece at a time, and it shuld be done in a couple of months.

I'd say that with the concern about nitro shortages, getting a gallon or two or keeping a few gallons off to the side would not be a bad idea... How much you should stockpile really is dependent upon how much you fly. Figure out about 9 tanks per gallon.

Besides, the cost of fuel is going up.. Be sure to get Heli fuel...

In a couple of months, the nitro supply should be starting to recover because the Olympics will be concluding.

BTW, you should get out of the habit of calling it "gas". There are gasoline powered RC helis, so you may confuse people. The appropriate term is "nitro" or "glow fuel".
