I just hung up the phone w/ Ready Heli, got a package w/ two Gaui 200's one SD one BD and some spare parts.

I have some spektrum DSP75's will these work for cyclic? One of them comes w/ bluebird servos and a 3154? They took the post down already, so I can't even go look at what I bought.

Thanks guys,

Been reading these 200 threads for about a month now, seeing what kind of fun you all have been having. And saw the deal on consignment for two of them w/ spare parts for $300.00 and couldn't pass it up!

Hokay Dude,

I have previously posted a matrix of servo types, dimensions etc., check this out first.

Next, the 45hb's seem to work pretty good, I think most of the hands are running them.
I went with the Dymonds to save weight and they were rumoured to center well. I'm freaking happy with them. Who knows as far as parts, but hey, they have'nt broke yet either!!! I'd also say if it says E-Flite on it anywhere, I'd go south... (mho)

The servo mount on the 200 frame uses the center hole for the servos, I screwed my mounting directly into the carbon frame (it worked fine!), but there's not a lot of mounting support, and no parts, on the bird as it comes in the box.

P.M. when you got questions. There may be a response delay, but I'm around.

A very good deal indeed. I thought I was doing pretty good for just 1 @ $255.00 shipped:arggg: They really should throw in a free magnifying glass with these helis, man those screws are small. Needless to say, you'll have plenty to keep you busy for awhile.:YeaBaby:

About 5 min after I bought them I tried to go look at what I just bought and of course it was already taken off the site. I'm pretty sure one is complete except for gyro & RX. The other looked to be new in the box, I think there are 2 batteries and other spare parts. I figure I won't see it until Monday, but it should be worth the wait!

Now to keep them from the GF :arggg: dang I'm going to pay for this! She still thinks I only have three heli's, these two will make seven! Oh well!!!

Are you looking for horses? They are being given away every day up here, people can't afford to take care of them. Pretty sad when a good horse goes to slaughter because no one can afford it.

just tell her one is for her.

Didn't work w/ the CX2, I don't think she will buy it! I've had the Trex 500 for 2 months now and she still hasn't said anything but of course the blade CPP has been hidden in the garage, so the heli count has been right! Guess I'll have to hide one of the 450's for a while!

Use a label-maker program and print up fake labels for the stuff on Avery stickers...

$350.00 becomes $35.00.

Peel & stick!

Use your head lad, we're heli freaks!!

She's very internet savy and can look things up faster than me, but good idea!

As for your ceiling problem did you damage the drywall or just the texture? If it's the "popcorn" texture better start scraping the entire ceiling. Anything else we can fix it no problem!

...and yeah, regarding horses...

I've owned, loved, buried, quite a few good friends.
What's going on right now makes me sick.

I'm quite the right-winger, yes I've hugged a tree, but it was in a good sorta way...

I say I'm a pirate 200 years to late, fact is, I'm sorta an old cowboy watching the fences go up.

Don't own any more, no room.
Sponsored a mustang once, but the diptwiddles... ...ah well...

'Ya made me get all choked up, ya north-forty *sswipe!! More heli's, less reality, okay?

Didn't mean to choke you all up!!

The thing around here that realy is up setting, is when someone responsible puts "free to a good home" every yard sale redneck comes out of the woodwork saying they will give it a good home! But they can't even feed the other three that they have!!:arggg: So they all end up starving!
"But it was free"

Hey Montana, it's all good!

You get lots of extra points for getting a vicious pirate all misty-eyed ;-)

But that's probably my biggest hot-button. People that mistreat kids and animals.
There should be a *very* special place for them...

But back to your Heli's!

With two of them, you're going to have fun. It helps a lot to have a spare.
Be sure and keep an eye on your weights, problems and flying characteristics, we're all ears on this one. I think a lot of us are fence-sitting on the tt version, but it probably won't be long before this changes.

After seeing the video post of Bert flying the 200 in his buddies backyard and his take on the TT, (as well as your work on a clutch/shear pin idea!) I'm convinced the TT is the way to go. Just waiting for the right time to place an order. Seems like everyone is out of stock on the most needed spares and want to place the order all at once so I don't have to pay shipping for a few parts!

I have been reading this forum for a while now and have learned a lot! Having a tough time waiting to place the order, especially on windy days like this when I have a perfectly good 3 car garage I could be flying the 200 in!
