I am thinking about getting the x9303 and would like to know if my futaba servos, gy 611, and gv1 will work with the JR receiver or would I need some type of connector conversion?

They will connect if you cut the tab from the side of the Futaba plugs.

I cringe every time I do it, but I do it...

Yep, trim the tab and make sure you have the ground oriented correctly. No problem.
