JE...your the man.....you got some nice upgrades there....

I got the Trex white gear and the yellow...I was surprised the Yellow is much smaller than the white....but much sturdier.....

what are those lipos.....6s or 3s...they look fat.....

Your going to have a good ship when you get done....

Happy flying......lets have some pics of you and your heli in the Stand up thread when you get a chance......don't be bashful....look at JB....he loves himself so much he is in his avitar !!! Ex-cop....gotta be a power thing....in the US we call it the Wyatt Erpp syndrom.

6s 3200's. They're loafs of bread compared to the 3s 2200's.

Took apart the tail grips, greased them.. put them back together and one side locks up. Argh. I'll have to measure out the differences and see whats up.

Hey JaggedEdge, you using those 6S one at a time, I guess? You can't put both of them on the 550, can you?

Correct, I went 6s so I didn't have to run 2-3s packs. :)
I hope to have 4 soon. :D

One of the tail grips bind on the hub. I could fix it with a shim or back off the bolt enough and lock it down with loctite but I'd rather return it for a good one.

Other grip is perfect. Swapping parts between the 2 sides makes no difference which tells me its an interference on the grip itself. :arggg:

Another thing I don't like about the set I received is the bolts/hub can be easily cross threaded. :bawl Its almost as if the set I received were used. No markings or scratches though so I doubt it.

Enough frustration from that, I'll give readyheli a call in the am.. I know they'll work it out.

Thanks for that. One side I can tighten it down nice and snug with no notchiness or binding. The other side is a completely different story. I did do what skigolfmike did but that just doesn't seem right for $40. Without backing the bolt off and depending on loctite it binds and is a notch fest.

I'd hate to return them only to have the same thing happen. Bummer.

It would be nice if it came with instructions. It took me a while to figure it out.:arggg:

Same principle, so yes I think it would be the same.
