Hi guys...

If anyone is using FUTABA 7C 2.4Ghz (FASST)... how long does your battery last you before you have to recharge it? Are there better options then the stock battery it came with?

Thanks in advance!

Its been a while since I've been using the stock battery but yeah I know it don't last long.

I've been using a Lighting Power pack that is a LiPo Tx pack so its much easer to charge if you already have a Lipo charger and it can be charged at 1C

Its specs are 2650mAh 3S1p 11.1v 4C, and its charge lasts about 6 to 8 hrs and it takes about 20 minutes to charge up on my CellPro4. Sure beats 45 minutes of on time and 8 hrs to charge.

A few of the draw backs are that you no longer can use the low voltage alarm as at 11.1v you have to at least abide by the 20% LiPo rule so I typically recharge it at about 11.v which is to high for the factory Tx alarm trigger setting.

The second maybe is cost as that one goes for about 50 bucks but for me, especially since I'm doing lot of sim time as I'm still learning, 6 to 8 hrs of run time is worth the price.

I know there are other LiPo Tx packs around too that have less mAh that are cheaper but that one has the most mAh that I've found so far so for me thats what I cared about but if you don't want to spend that much you could probably find something that would give you close to the same time that would suite your needs for less.
