this is a little concerning, with my 9xii I am now using mode 2 now and then it goes back to mode 1? I suspect its when I plug in the simulator? bit of a worry

why should where I am matter? it did it again while setting up my multi gov, turned on the transmitter and it was on mode one........ VERY DANGEROUS!! if it changed and you didnt pick up on it you would end up with full back cyclic and half throttle when you started

Why didn't you just answer mac_man's question? If anyone can help you, he can.
He's a JR technician. FYI - different countries have different versions.
