I fly a X9303 JR 2,4 ghz for a week now but can't program a flight mode delay between the normal, stunt 1 stunt 2 mode
This means quite an impact on the heli when switching modes and sometimes the tail to wag a bit during switching. I could only find a delay coming out of hold mode.
any solutions?
There is also no Gas limiter mode for starting the engine ( safety ) like Grauper JR MX-16 has
any solutions fot that?
thnx a lot

Yeah, there is no delay setting that can be programmed to soften the swich between flight modes on the 9303. For me personally, I always run in an idle up FM anyways. I spool her up in normal and at mid stick, I switch into Idle 1 and then continue the spoolup. Then I fly. Keeps me from forgetting to flip the switch in flight before doing any 3D stuff (which I'm known to do. haha). The only thing you may want to try, which I can't guarantee will work, would be to program a mix (FM:Throttle). Never tried it, but it may work.
No gas limiter mode either. Sorry man. :(

thanks for your quick reply.
Still can't understand there is FM delay for the sailplane mode and not for the Heli mode, looks like a bug in the software. Also for the sailplane mode you can program the timer on any switch you want ( like when you switch flight modes )
Really looks like a Sailplane radio and a very basic Heli radio.
Shame ... they should make a software update.

Marc,
Hmmm, I hadn't noticed that, but then again I've never actually looked at the sailplane setup in mine. I'll have to look at that tonight to see the differences. If that's the case, then yes, I agree that they need to update so that the software has the needed similarities between flight models.
Kinda the same as the trim settings. In airplane mode, you can set your flight trims to be common for each FM or different. If you make a trim change in one FM, it carrys through to all of them.. but on the heli mode, that's not the case. Common trim is only available for rudder and not cyclic. Doesn't make sense to me, personally.

its weird yeah, I almost want to set up my Raptor like a sailplane for all this but thats a bit hard. If you look at graupners MX-22 that uses the same housing but has so much better software I really am disappointed with the 9303. Only the mx-22 cost twice as much and is PCM system. Well maybe they offer a software upgrade soon

The X12 allows you to program any switch to start the timer, plus you can use the throttle stick. You also have the option of using common trim or different trim for each mode. There is no delay when changing flight modes, but i have never had a need for it as I program the top halves of my pitch curves the same in all modes. My normal throttle curve is at 80 % at halve throttle so there is very little boost when I change to or from flight mode.

Thanks Yeah there is no need for it but just 1/3 of a second delay would be smoother on the mecanics as my head speed moves up from Stunt mode 1 to stunt 2 , Then still why is it there for the sailplane mode and not the heli mode. Is this the same on the international version JR 9X? anybody has that radio? thnx
