I don't have a switch harness and don't really want to buy one just to bind my receiver. I could borrow one, but I never remember to ask when I'm around someone that would have one.
Anybody have a clever way of doing it without a switch harness?

Just plug the bind plug into the Batt port.

Plug the bind plug into the Rx batt port. Get power to the Rx using the lipo/esc into the throttle channel, or as I do .... use the NiMh batt Rx pack that came with the unit plugged into any port (correct orientation). Now hold the bind button on the TX and turn the Tx on. It should bind.

Well phooey. That didn't work. The reciever flashes, but never stops flashing even after 15 seconds of holding the xmitter bind button down.

Try it again w/ the TX off this time after the RX starts to flash hold the bind button and turn on the TX should stop flashing in a few seconds!
You created a model for it right?

Yeah, I've been flying with it, it's is bound, but I want to reset the failsafe since it spins like mad where it's set right now.

Set the left stick all the way down and re-bind!

You only have to push and hold the bind button when its powered on, when the bind button starts to flash release your finger off the button
