main blade?

what main blades are you guys flying I'm looking into gassers (still) and just flying sport styles will runnning 710mm hurt or are 810mm better?

We have two different models, the standard Intrepid Gasser runs with 690-720mm blades (typically 710's).

The Intrepid Gasser EB has an (E)xtended (B)oom and runs 800/810mm blades.

The other difference between the two is the gear ratios. We run the standard Gasser with a 14 tooth pinion and spin the head at 1650-1800.

The EB version uses a 12 tooth pinion and we spin the head at 1450-1650.

Both can be setup very stable, or setup for aerobatics. Obviously the smaller blades at higher RPM's is more agile than the setup with 810's at lower RPM's but it will still do any manuever you want, just maybe a little slower with more grace....:)

The blade choices for 690-720 are anything that has a 14mm root and a 4mm bolt hole. V-Blades are my choice, with Radix being very popular also.

For 800/810mm size you have 800mm NHP's, 810mm MAH, or 810mm V-Blades.

is there any benifits to useing the 26 engine over the 23 in the standard intrepid? or can you even got that configuration

I had an EB running 12T pinion and 800 NHP's on a G231 it has gobs of power.I've since shortend the tail down to standard size and will run 14T pinion 710 Rototec's.Have not flown this configuration yet.The 231 is a good motor.

We only sell it with the G26.

There's no replacement for displacement unless you aint got the ball$....:)
