For only flying for 7 months I think im doing awsome :banana.Trading my Trex 450XL for this heli is the best move I made,I even sold my new Trex450SA thats in my sig :YeaBaby:.All I can say is I love this heli and its sooo freaking stable :noteworthy.I need to lean it out a little more cause I made it load up in the end so I had to land for a min but as soon as I get a temp gun and find out where the running temp should be at i'll make some adjustments.Heres my video and dont mind the noob with the radio lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZLorC2m9wY ..click on "watch in high quality" ,on the bottom right, comes in way more clearer

If they want it quiet they should move to a old folks home or the country.

WRONG!!

YOU should take it to the country WHERE YOU SAID YOU WOULD to fly.

Sorry bud, but as you grow older you'll figure this stuff out...

Have respect for your neighbors. Especially those that have been around longer than you. This is a hobby. A dangerous and annoying hobby for those that aren't interested. If you want to continue it, and make it possible for the rest of us to do so, please join a club and go to a proper field. If not, stick to your smaller electrics and please go somewhere besides a public park where anyone can walk into your flight path.

Not impressed at all.

That would be totally illegal where I live.

We are not allowed to fly closer than 150 meters to "premisses" and where people live.

And you are being very disrespectful to your neighbours. You choose the heli (and the noise, and the smoke and the danger involved) - they did not.

Go to an open field - or better yet, a club - and give your neighbours some rest.

Respectfully yours

Peter

Ya know, sometimes I need to run my outboard motor in the driveway to make sure everything is okay before I put the boat in the water for the season. It is loud and obnoxious, but it is only for a minute of less. I had talked with my neighbor about it back when I first moved here, and because he has stupid barking dogs, we decided things equaled out. My point is, I talked with him before doing an annoying thing, because that is what neighbors do. We teach people how to treat us, and flying a nitro helicopter in such close proximity to houses and people is teaching people to treat you even worse. I have a yard that is 6 times as big, and if I had a nitro helicopter the only thing I might do is to tune it or dial it in, and fly it at a more appropriate location. My yard is also surrounded by trees so an out of control helicopter would never make it past those trees.

People pay a lot of money to own a home, and part of what they pay for is the right to live in peace. I assure you, as a former member of law enforcement, their right to peace and quiet far outweighs your need to do obnoxious dangerous things in your yard...

No regard for safety or property. If I was your neighbor I would sniper the bird out of the air with a pellet gun. If my kids were out and playing I guarantee that bird wouldn’t be in the air.

Oh yea if you don’t like my reply well who gives a shit!! Cause you sure don't.

OK well I can see where this post is going.....

Not getting into the noise and neighbor debate but I do feel flying a heli that size in a location like this is unsafe.

I am moving this post to Heli Safety where it can be debated there.
I will CLOSE this thread if the name calling continues. So feel free to debate the rights or wrongs of this but keep it civil.

Or, do the right thing or don't admit you are irresponsible on an internet forum and then throw attitude when you are called out on it. How the hell are we supposed to get any respect for this hobby when it is being undermined by self-entitled mentality. This is no different than the skateboarders destroying private property and then *****ing about how people hate skateboarders. Just be responsible, is that too much to ask?

Yeah, I understand that, but my outboard is just noisy. It won't fly off of the boat and get someone hurt. Not trying to bring the brotha down, I just think we need to police each other before someone else does. I would hope to God someone would let me know if I did something less than ideal. It's all about learning.

Not so. This is a tight knit community. If you don't like people calling your out for being irresponsible in how you fly, then YOU need to be the one to learn how to respect others and take it somewhere else.

Thank you in advance. Looks like he is getting a little timeout with the infraction he earned himself with this thread.:roll::arggg:
