Hi there,

i love my knight but the baldholders + shaft seem to have now plenny room to wiggle. I guess this is because of the dampeners right? I exchanged the head with 600E which is sitting and waiting for the batteries and ESC so i was out with this had on my nitro. After 3 flights i landed and noticed that it is not as tight as brand new.

So during my disasembly of the one head i recognize the big washer between bladeholder and the joke. So i wonder myself now, are the delrim dampeners going bad oder is this washer crap and wear out?

What do you all have in your knight heads?

From my 600N i known that there are dampeners that are basically only some rubber rings in the knight this looks like hard plastig with small rubbers. Hmmm

Greetings

I use Green K&B dampeners and really like them. They are thinner than the stock so you will need to add the brass washer from a rex 600 head take up the gap.

So you mean you remove the big delrin dampeners and insert the K&B ones, then the brass ring and then the original metal ring and the Bladeholders. Is this correct?

Ehm i just received 2 sets ob that K&B dampeners. The Delrin Dampeners are hughe and the K&B really small/thin. You just have one of the green ones on each side and the bras spacer from a 600 Rex. Arent the delrin much bigger? Why didnt you use two on each side? Would this result in a too hard dampening?

Not in diameter but in width they are.

Why didnt you use two on each side?
Won't fit using 2 K&B Green Dampeners on each side.... thus the reason for adding the extra washer.

Would this result in a too hard dampening?
Just add one green K&B dampener on each side plus one extra trex 600 brass washer on each side and it will work perfect.

Well thank you a lot. This is amazing now. My 600E with a 5000mAh pack is not rock solid with those dampeners no wiggle no nothing. Much more and precise control. We should really make a sticky FAQ post regarding to such stuff.
