Pet Hate naff sounds in Phoenix

I dont know about you guys but one of my pet hates with the PhoenixRC Sim is the crap sound it really bugs me and spoils a good sim.:mad:

If you compare it with XTR or Aerofly there is just no contest. I simply hate it.I took it to a recent indoor fly in for the guys to have a bash & even they ended up turning the sound off so its not just me.

Can the guys at Phoenics do something about this? its not just the samples its just far to unrealistic and almost game like.

I know at the end of the day its just a teaching aid but better sound has got to be a bonus.

I have to say when I forst switched from Reflex to Phoenix I thought the same as you. The sounds are very "Cheesy" compared to other sims but in my opinion the performance makes up for it.

I have to turn the sound off for the Trex 500 it gives me a friggin headache. So then I just go back to practicing on the 600n so I am GREAT on my 600 but the 500 I can't do any smooth moves. :(

I listen to music and TS when a sim so the sound doesn't bother me at all ...... you do know there are custom sounds for phoenix ?? Search this thread for them ....... why not record your own sound and share it with us ? Phoenix is no different than reflex when it comes to sounds, its just the sounds they recorded are lame.

Dev did the custom sounds, I used a mix of his sounds and stock.
