I picked up a Blade CP Pro recently and am in the process of trying to trim it so it won't be such a struggle to hover it. Yeah, I know they are twichy, etc. Pitch and tail trim were reasonable easy to set up on this machine; however, I'm having difficulty with roll. The heli wants to "slide" to the left. If I adjust the roll trim to counter the slide, the heli wants to roll right. Adjusting the slide out causes the heli to "lean" in the opposite direction.
Could the slide be due to something other than simple servo trim? Like overall balance, main blade balance, or just my poor stick management? Seems like I should be able to trim the thing to the extent I'm not continually leaning on the stick to counter the slide. I'm using the FM radio that came in the box.
On a related note, the manual says that each CPP is flight tested at the factory. I'd like to meet the guy who claims to have tested this one. Ready to fly and Blade CP Pro should not appear in the same sentence. An oxymoron if I ever saw one.
Any suggestions on trim would be most appreciated.
