Hey gang,

I got a chance to get out and fly the Hirobo X-Spec that I traded for. Very smooth heli. I need to change out the dampeners, but that will probably fix her up. Check out my photos:

Hey Charlie.....wicked canopy man! Enjoy your new bird. If you are going to change out the dampners, you might want to consider the Carbon Extreme V2 dampners for the Freya/X-Spec.

Thanks guys, this is one awesome heli. My first 90 size bird (even though it has a YS61stII in it). I will learn to fly this and upgrade to a YS91 at a later time. Having fun for the first time..... and I even bought the family a new refrigerator with the money from selling two heli's and selling odds and ends off. Everytime I look at the big frig in the kitchen, I can see my two heli's sitting there.... :( , but alas, I have one nice heli left .... and it is a nice one.

Charlie, I told you you'd love her to death!

I got no regrets switching to Hirobo/X-Spec...

Hey Wayne, yep.... got a little "razor" happy.... goatee gone.... it's coming back! :smokin:

Hey mevigavant, can't wait to really ring her out. She feels nice.

Hey Erich, nice looking bird you have there. I'll let you know how I like it after a few more aggressive flights.

I am sad and miss my canopy. I think I need to change my avatar now. Get the extreme and wolf in it.

Nice lookin X there Rob, and with all the talk here lately about the contest stuff, you got the perfect machine for it.

Hey Anthony, that is definitely what I am thinking about trying.... I don't know I have the time or the disipline to practice though. Do you still have that nice Eagle (I think) with the full canopy? Now that's a machine !

Yeh I still got it, gonna use it for 2006 but I am planning on putting one of the new Eagle III heads on it after X-Mas, and getting one of the OMI mods done, it already has the Cline and Viper head.

Nice Spec, one change I would make is to get rid of those button head bolts on the head yoke and replace them with standard head machine screws. Some of the button head bolts are not as strong as they need to be for this application.
