Thanks guys for doing such a good job of selling these little Gauis. I really got to fly her in some open space today and be less tentative than on my set up flights yesterday. Once I made the mental adjustments and gave her a little speed this thing really flew great. Felt like I was flying one of my 450s with a little caffeine. Again thanks to Buzz, Grey, Jet and all the others who've given such good info.
I put pictures up in "Show off your Gaui" yesterday.

Almost forgot thanks to Goldslinger. I think we started this heli adventure about the same time. I read his posts over in the Trex 450 forum and he seemed to have his stuff in one sock, so when I spotted him here in Gaui land I thought this would be something worth trying.

Ain't it great. You just can't convey that feeling to someone. It has to be experienced. Good to hear there is another happy camper. Setup is crucial on any heli but especially with the 200. Once that is achieved there are nothing but grins:YeaBaby: until you crash of course.:bawl That's the way it is for me at least.

Ya this heli is AWESOME! Its funny to see peoples reaction to it who have never heard of it before. I've shown it to a couple of my buddies who don't fly helis at all and I think at first, when they see it, they think its a joke or something. I'll try to tell them how rad it is but they don't fully understand untill they see it fly. Then they're just amazed that something so small can fly so fast and precise.

I agree. People that are unfamiliar with today's rc heli's are the ones that I really get a kick out of. Most assume it's just another toy like those annoying ones you see some guy flying at the mall. But spin it up and switch into idleup :WOWand they start stepping backward. Classic. :fly

I got the old step backwards reaction from my younger brother. The first time out at the field with him with me and i took off, got about 5 feet up and switched her straight to idle 2 before i flew off. When i hit that switch it was like it triggered his feet to go back 3 steps. Love it. Now cant wait to see the reactions when I get my SD in the air. Should be funny!
