Is 'puffing' bad?

One of my Cellpro 3S 2100mh batteries got puffed but seems to function well otherwise (I am very happy with this model in general).

Is it OK to keep using it or does it introduce an increased fire risk?

not recommended no, the puffing is a result of built up gas from a chemical reaction in the cell.
