Couldn't get rid of a tiny tail drift. I'd raise my expo until I got wag (around 73), then back it off a step, and it would drift. Very slow. Every 10 seconds or so I'd have to pull it back. One step of trim sent it the other direction. Very slow. Very puzzling.

Until last night I noticed that the link on the tail servo ball had come off and was resting around the neck of the link. It was sloppy, of course.

Sheesh. :DOH Put it back on the ball, reset the tail in rate mode, and we're good to go, nice and solid.

Note to self: This stuff is tiny. Look closely and twice.

I know what you mean. I hovered my new bird today for about 5 minutes with no screw in the elev servo control arm. :arggg: Didn't notice until I found the screw laying on the bench:roll:. Went to put it back in and the servo arm fell off when I touched it. Could have ended unpleasantly. I was sure I had checked everything. So yes check recheck and recheck your recheck.

PS and then check again!
