I am building a Raptor 30 v2 and using a JR8103 radio. This is my first heli and I have been practicing nose-out hover on RealFlight. But never flown a real heli model. I have flown planes.

Does anyone know where there is a good first-timer's setup posted for the '8103 that they would recommend, or one you use?

I printed out the Radio Setup instructions from RaptorTechnique, but I am hoping to find something a little more '8103-specific with numeric settings and all.

The setup info you find on Raptor Technique will be good.
The problem with asking for someones specific numerical settings is this.
All it takes is the links to be a little different in length. Servo horns be set on the spine different. Then the numerical settings will be totally different from one radio to the next.
As for the pitch settings. Get you pitch set up with a pitch gauge. Set the low end pitch to what you want it. Then the high end pitch to what you want it. Now set the mid stick pitch to be centered between the high and low settings. Then the 1/4 and 3/4 stick positions should be centered between low and mid, and mid and high.
