Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd ask everyone, how do you speed up the cyclic on the Hurricane? I want to increase the pitch and roll rate which in my opinion is a bit slow. I know I can increase the headspeed but don't want to do that. I also know I can lengthen the flybar, increase the size of the paddles, and reduce the weight of the paddles but what have YOU guys done that worked? Also, I notice that there are different holes on the mixing levers and flybar carrier. Which holes mechanically make the cyclic the fastest? Thanks for any help.

i have the gaui 3d paddles... upped my cycle numbers and got the cycle ring to keep from binding... and fly at 2500 rpm, the thing rolls and flips fast...

hi

I tried the light weight paddles and changed the setup of the CNC head:

This is quite a good result

Excellent information thanks! Any idea the weight of the light weight paddles? I'm wondering if I just drill some holes in the original paddles if that could make the difference so I don't have to buy new ones. And has anyone tried any other paddles or flybars that seem to make a positive difference? Thanks.

I'm using trex 600 flybar, little longer so it gives a little better stability, the added response, due to being a longer, it's a drop in replacement, Gaui paddles screw right on.

hirobo sceado flybar 420 or 440 mm and sceado paddles slightly larger with adjustable weights
