I am looking to upgrade my 6EX 2.4 to a 7C 2.4. One of the benefits I am looking for is the ability to see on the multifunction display (MFD) exactly where the left stick is. For example, if I center the left stick to set up 0 degrees on the blades, can I look down at the MFD to determine if I am exactly at mid stick or perhaps slightly above? I was talking to one of the guys who owns the DX7 and he said that radio will do it.
Thanks

No the 7C does not have a servo monitor feature. I am sure when the DX7 's left stick is on the center mark it is on the center mark of the servo monitor also. The marks beside the gimbal on both the 7C and DX7, the center mark is the center of servo travel. Servo monitor is no big deal, only time I use them is when I want to check and see if any mixing is taking place when I engage different flight conditions.

Easiest way to set zero pitch is to set all points on your pitch curve to 50%, this way it doesn't matter where the throttle/collective stick is. Just make sure you don't have any 'Hovering Pitch' trim dialed in. If you use any of the IdleUp flight modes, then it will be OK even if you have 'Hovering Pitch' dialed in.

cb is right, always inhibit (INH) hovering pitch/throttle
