Hi,
I tested the gov-mode in my new e620. It works without problems.
What are you using? What you think is best?
Thanks in advance

I have the E550 and used gov-mode on the stock ACE ESC as well as a MGM 80A Heli ESC. Worked like a dream, but you have to change the pitch curves a little when going from fixed endpoint mode to gov-mode. In gov-mode a more linear pitch curve will work a bit better, than the curves from fixed endpoint mode.
I also tried a CC85HV ESC, but it surges in gov-mode and found the MGM to be best for gov-mode. Tail holds soooo much better with gov-mode as well.

Thanks for your info.
I only thought the thr./pitch curve will have more power than gov-mode.
Or is it more or less similar?

With a linear PC ie 0,25,50,75,100 in IU1 and ESC in gov-mode (mine at 68%=2000rpm HS), I have found the sweet spot for my style of flying as the HS is constant througout, the tail is much more locked and the power is awesome, better than an overpowered 450 heli!!!!!
I am really hooked on gov-mode, suppose one can get to the same setup with TC and PC adjusted to provide the same constant HS, but it will never be as constant as in gov-mode. Personally I think one has to try both and see what you like.

Alright, so I will try TC PC, but I think you are right,
The HS can't be as constant as with gov-mode.
Thanks for your support.

i never tried gov mode before until i tried it with my E550. it flys really smooth, and it seems easier for me to control.

I also started to use gov mode and love it! I won't go back. The stock ESC works very well.
I use in all modes pitch curve of 0/25/50/75/100 and then thr of nor: 0/75/75/75/75 idle 1: 80/80/80/80/80 idle 2: 85/85/85/85/85
