I bought a used 200 SE with stock motor, esc, and "bluebird" bms-306bb servos. It also came with logitech 2100 gyro and fut s3110 for the tail. This is my first heli, should I break it down and rebuild it or fly as-is and adjust as necessary?
If i am going to rebuild from scratch should I add any mods?
thanks....

Personally, I would fly it as it is.
I do not know your swash servos, but your gyro and tail servo is perfect for the Gaui 200
Before flying, I would check that all your swash servos are at 90 degrees with the stick in its mid possision, your swash plate is level, and the bottom of the swash plate is 7 mm above the top of the frame at mid stick.
Good luck with your maiden flight :)

yeah I too would just fly it and check it out.... but would also check that nothing is loose, thread lock on the screws, and swash set up properly. A quick hover should tell you a lot, if you need some tweaking. I don't think you need to rebuild completely, just a once over, the stock gaui fly like a dream, there hasn't been much in the way of mods, because it is a really well designed little guy. I have the same gyro and it is a bit finicky to set up, but once done, it is really rock solid.
Make sure you check out finless build vids for the trex 450, gaui is set up very similar, just quite a bit smaller :) The vids will give you a good sense of if your gaui is set up correctly, and good luck on the maiden! keep us posted on your progress!

If you are going to buy a new receiver, I would buy the AR6100.
If you already have the AR7000, I am pretty sure you will be able to make room for it.
Where to place the satellite receiver can best be determined when you have the stuff in front of you. :)
I have put my AR6100 on the "nose" of the heli

whoa... yeah I'd say ar7000 is too big, especially with extra receiver thing. I am not sure if it would even fit anywhere without the extra receiver.... the lighter it is, the better it will fly. I think most people put the rx up front, as it is tail heavy... I have rx,battery and gyro all bunched up front. ar7000 won't fit up front with canopy is my guess. Your best bet is to use one of the 6 ch spektrum rx, they are much smaller and lighter. Check out the show off thread, many people have posted pics, and you can see different mounting options.

I have to agree. You never know where the locktite wasn't used, lose screws not to mention the pitch settings. Give it the once over. You'll be glad you did. I bought a used Gaui 200 in perfect condition, flew it for 30 seconds and had to set it down. Re-adjusted the links and flys great.
