Ok guys here's the deal... I'm thinking about going for another Logo heli to add to my fleet. This would be Logo #2. In the list below you will see what I currently own in the way of electronics to go in it. Now it's time for you guys to steer me in the right direction. Should I build a 500 or a 600??? I already own a Logo 6003D so the 5003D is looking real nice swinging some 560mm blades or 500mm blades.

CC 85HV ESC 119 grams
Hercules 6v High Current BEC
JR770 Gyro with a 9254 on the tail
9252 cyclic
Flightpower 8s 4270 Lipo 765 grams

I'm leaning towards a Logo 500 but could run a Logo 600 with no problems with this setup. I'm just thinking with a Logo 500 the flight times are going to be off the hook with 8s 4270 Lipo! :) Was thinking about running a NEU 1910H/1Y or 1907

Let the fun begin!!!! What should I do????!!!!

Thanks guys!

I think you should go for the L500 just to try something different. Has lots of power for the weight. Definitely get the Rotortech 560mm blades. They have a 53mm width while the 550s have 51mm - adds a lot more air grabbing snap.

I see your staying with the flybar. Has V-bar entered the equation yet?

I'd love to get a v-bar!! It's simply out of my grasp financially and most likely will be for a couple of years. SK360 I may try if it drops $100 in price in time. Like anything current and new in technology... give it 2 years and watch how the price drops.

I'd either:

buy an extra pack and a V-Bar for the 600 you have (rumor has it that the V-Bar price will be dropping in July, but no idea how much).

buy the 500. Mine's been suffering inattention due to the 600 and three packs, but my T600 is now down (sent in for repairs to Neu), so I'm all-Logo at the field now ;)

Your flybared 600 flys well. If you do get a V-Bar, I'll set it up for ya.

Flybar-less I would very much appreciate that, but unless I win the lottery or something a v-bar just simply isn't going to happen for some time to come. I'd rather grow my fleet than just upgrade one heli so I can have something to fall back on and fly when my 600 is down for repairs.

What kind of flight times do you get out of your 599? My setup will be pretty much the same other than swinging 560mm blades and a flybar.

8S 4270s will only get you about 30 seconds more over a 6S 5000mah setup so you know, I have tested this. Abit more ballz out, but not as much as you'd think.

Get a 500 and swing 550 or 560MM rotors. I have the 500 and just ordered the 600!

I went and read your 8s reviews earlier and am aware of this. The only reason I would do it is because I have everything but the motor and kit. I need to research more before I take the plunge. I'm afraid it may be to nose heavy.

Flybar-less..... is their anyway you could take pictures of your electronics layout? How's the CG on yours as the 8s Lipo doesn't fit under pinion?
