Ok, it seems a couple of persons (thanks for all your support during the last years)need a bit explaination.
1. we are bringing k&B as a distributor.
2. this is done to get more parts avaibility on the market.
This is purely a business decidsion, has nothing to do with kicking anyone or any company out.
The only reason is to keep our customer happier and to maintain a better service. i know a lot of people likes the knight helicopter and to bring k&b in is exactly aimed to better serve them. It seems hard but it has to be done.
Now we get more selling points and more possibilities are open for customers.
For those need more explaination please
refernce to the post from Rodney, and compass website.

thanks for your support.

Luke,
Correct me if I'm wrong but I spoke with Infina Models two days ago and Rodney said he had a parts order placed for a couple of weeks and that you had assured Rodney for a period of approx 10 days that the items were in fact shipped and on their way! Then as of June 21 Rodney was informed that in fact nothing had shipped. I am curious why Compass would continue to inform Rodney that parts have shipped when in fact nothing had shipped.

I'm not sure I follow the thinking here.
Align is definately one of the big manufactures and has managed to distribute through one vendor in the US.

So Compass must be so popular that one distributor can't possibly keep up w/ the high demands here, seeing as you are blaming parts availability for the need. It would come to reason that if you own a compass heli and need parts you still would find them and buy them through the only distributor in the US.

Why not say the real reasons for stabbing a distributor in the back! Are they not marketing your heli well enough, not using sales reps to pick up more vendors? Did you bother to discuss expanding the market w/ them.

I have thought about a compass for a heli, but I have seen what adding a second distributor can do for a prouduct! At least speak the truth here, If you were happy w/ Infina Models as your distributor you wouldn't have gone behind their back the way you did, and not told them about your decisions.

It's this kind of behavior in a company that will keep me from buying your product! Quite honestly if I were Rodney I would be looking for a new line to carry, and call every existing compass client I had w/ a trade in offer!

Very poor move on your part, I am curious do you ever have trouble looking people in the eyes?

Align does not use one distributor. They have 3 or 4 in the U.S. Assurance is only one and not a very good one IMHO. Heliproz and Horizon are also Align distributors and I believe there is at least 1 more.

1. we will not give details how deals are done with rodney nor with k&b.. we like to keep business between business people who involved. and we do support rodney and k&b within the agreement we agreed. it is not our way to put every delivery and every deals' detail on public room. so for delivery or deals detail please reference to your orginal resources.

2. the reason we bring k&b as a distributor please refere to the first message. And we have no intension to copy Align or any other company's business model.

and this is the reason compass will never be huge, why follow a pattern that works lets try new frontiers and see if we can become infinitely smaller!

Luke,
I did what you suggested and went back to my "original resources" this case being Rodney --- He maintains that Compass informed him a few weeks ago that parts were shipped to him. These are the parts that I personally was hoping to purchase so I could simply get my helicopters back in the air. So my question remains - Have you shipped parts to Infina Models or not? Its seems to me to be a reasonable question.
