I am assuming that you mean aluminum landing gear struts.
They used to be what most every heli manufacturer used...as they did not have to incur the expenses of making a mold. Unfortunately, due to the STEEL fixtures that one needed to attach them to the skids (which were secured by STEEL bolts), they were RF generators that would cause glitches. Whenever one of these bolts would get the least bit loose...glitch city. Consequently they are now longer very popular.
If you want stronger landing gear for the Hawk, then get the low profile, wide stance, heavy duty CN2243 units. These are the ones used on their 50 sized Raven.

You could also use the after-market landing gears, some of them colored, to fit your needs. KSJ has some as well as Quick.

Do you by any chance have a link to eather the Quick or KSJ landing gear? I Googled them both and could not find any landing gear products for them.
Thanks,
Robert

Check Ron Lund's webpage (www.ronlund.com) and click on On Line store. Scroll down to the Quick lineup and you'll see the landing gears. As far as KSJ goes, I am still trying to locate a site for you.
