Got the servos and spare parts that I ordered from ReadyHeli today. Waiting for my Gaui to come from Flying Hobby. Received an email that it had shipped 6/21, but still no info in the package tracking system. Guess there was a typhoon go through there, so that could explain some delay. I'm sure I will get it soon and be very happy with my purchase. Just should have known myself and how anxious I get to receive something I order. I would have paid a few more bucks ordering everything from RH, but would be building right now!

Was able to install, set up, program and check proper operation of one of the parts I received today from RH. Photo attached!

Awesome. How often do you do a backflip with that thing? I suspect there's lots of inverted flights.

I've just mastered extended 90 degree rotor to horizon hovering with it. Was never able to do that with my other helis! Will be working on funnels with a little more practice with it.

Think I'm going to like this forum!

Hey Buzz, When you have all the initial Helista (Helistia?) seniority numbers assigned, I would like to be considered for membership and given a number!

Your in. (we let anyone in...well almost) I think 5 is that last number used so far? Try 6.

As far as the name I edited the drawing and forgot the "i". I can change it but haven't had any feedback on it so far. The name is from Gr4y. He should have the last say I suppose.

You should have your Flying hobby order by the first of next week maybe sooner.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Hard to wait when I see how much fun you guys are having! Had 4 days off this week and was looking forward to getting it together over this time since I will only be in town one full day the next couple of weeks. Since crashing the T-Rex yesterday, I only have the CX2 and sim to fly. No one in town had main shafts and even RH is out of stock.

I don't have the heli quite yet, but at least I can now say I am a proud member or the Helista!

But does having a CX2 take some "cool" points away from you? lol

LOL even my fiance laughed at her CX2. I bought it for her and she looked at it and went "WHAT! I cant fly one of your real ones" I didnt get hit in the face so I answered correctly.
