After much tought and hours of looking for bits I need in boxes and bxes of heli stuff I've taken on the task of setting up a little "man" space in the basement. Nothing fancy but should help me to be more produtive. I'll post some pics after I complete this enourmous endevor. Wish me luck. (I'll need it).

For those that haven't seen the previous mess err... Gaui lab here's the before vid

Damn Buzz, I thought I had ordered a lot of spare parts! I need your stock!

That was back in Feb. I built a "scratch" 200 out of spare parts. I've replenished that stock a couple times. I crash a lot! :arggg: Plus I really enjoy working on them.

Well, Buzz, let me put it to you this way.....

If someone's going to accuse you of flying,
Just be D*mned sure they've got enough evidence!!!

"A little man space in the basement" Isn't the entire basement supposed to be man space? Oh, but I forgot you have that super girl friend that's a keeper. So she should get as much basement as she wants. Like I said on your birthday, you better recognize. I still say she's gonna go nitro on ya.

Trust me I fly. Well if I can call it that. I'd bet I have over 400 packs through the three brothers and very little skill to show for it. I'll challenge anyone to a hover contest though :banana

Dang, you guys with your identical avatars -- now I have to READ your names.

Never learned to read.

Aren't you afraid of getting a T-rex 200 or a Gaui 450 out of that mess? :tongue

Peter

PS: Looking forward to your after-vid.

Well I got started. It's a bigger job than I had thought. I didn't realize the ammount to stuff I had and sorting the various boxes of heli stuff is time consuming. I'm on it though and should be done in a couple days.:thinking

The parts on the wall are in most cases 4-5 deep if not more. I'm a firm believer in not being able to fly due to lack of parts is a no-no.

I've got a couple more boxes of misc. Heli stuff to haul down and sort before I can start to organize the mess.

Oh ya, this is my "man" do not enter on pain of death and dismemberment corner of the basement. The other 1500sf is reserved as "family" space. However I am going going to bring it up at the next family meeting. Maybe I can consolidate the game room and the family room into a single space. It's a man right LOL.

All you need is a fridge, and that would be the ultimate 'heli-freak man cave' :).

I'm sorta with RotorHead,

...but I think you need this huge "Lazy Susan", with cable managment and parts racks...

Now <that> is the coolest addition to any man-cave. But my vendors say they're backordered into next year! (sigh)
