Im back, the sun is shining, the sea is blue, I just had a swim in the pool and the world is a better place already (if not previously mentioned UK sucks!!) My 'chore' of going back to our house there is done and I now have a whole year to kill before I have to do it again phew!
But that has nothing to do with the title of this New Thread I hear you say........and you are correct!

I came back to Sabah yesterday and within a few hours of landing after a 14 hour flight I was 'presented' with my blinged Hurri (now officially sexier than Jessica Alba wrapped in a copy of Rotorworld). New everything, tidied everything, smartened everything..............check the photo!

So, I announce Wazzer is the B.O.T.M. (Buddy of the Month)

Weather has been OK recently thanks Bob (well OK in UK terms - you're getting spoilt). I love these long evenings - straight from work to rowing, row for an hour and a half, back home, quick shower + eat and down to the field for 8.30 - fly for an hour :fly

Trex 600 tail is compatible for EP550?

with mods... yes.. the Trex tail boom is a larger diameter than the Hurri.. but not by much.. adding a shim will let the Trex tail case fit.

OK, Its night time here now so no more pictures of the detail until tomorrow. I have attached some other pics I took this morning. Talking of gay......I have just had to respond to a thread here which carries photos of a Hurri in Spandex!!! I will have to do something manly with mine to offset this highly offensive paint job (hang on....I got a bollocking once for my wayward sense of humour.......so, this is a joke guys (or should that read gays)

Ha ha, and how many times do you think I have thought about that over the years??? Maybe one day! We are on the 7th floor and that isn't a lagoon....its the South China Sea. This adds lots to the 'bottle factor' Maybe I should try it with Ben's first (with the dyhederal blades). I am sure with my current level of ability that I could get it away from the balcony in one piece, even hover over the sea but getting it back onto MY balcony as opposed to someone elses may be an issue! It's gonna be there for a while so, who knows, maybe just maybe I will drum up the courage one early morning!

Nearly midnight here and I am sat on that very balcony right now typing this, still in just a sarong...it's been one of those lazy jet lagged days. Wazzer has built his Trex already so we are off to do a spot of testing on it tomorrow. Off to bed now to dream of a clean take off from the balcony table, couple of circuits over the ocean and a controlled landing back on the table..............dreams are free and rarely incur damage! Nite bro
