I bought some CopterX parts and compared them with our beloved 200.

Mainblades from the top:
CopterX 210x22.5x2.9mm 14.3 gram
Woodblade 196x22.5x2.9mm 6gram
Plasticblade 193x21.9x2.6 7.5gram

From left to right:
Trex tailblade (just because they are identical to copterx but bigger).
CopterX 48x15.5x1.9mm 1.3gram
Gaui 37x14x1.2mm 0.6gram

Measurments from centre hole to tip..
Paddels from CopterX to big and heavy 2.7gram, gaui 1.1gram.

Gonna do some flight tests tonight.

Great post. I always wondered about those parts. Very interested in how the main blades work.

I've got doubts, but if we could find an aftermarket source for parts, that would sure help.

I don't think there's much more that dismays the new user than (out of stock, out of stock, out of stock, out of stock).

I agree Gr4y but I will give Ready Heli credit they don't stay out of stock very long.

D#mn! If Gr4y has that patented, I guess I need to know where to send the royalties! Does that patent include grass, concrete and asphalt naps???

Hope to have the 200 back together later today and will post some pics!

I'd demand to see the paperwork first. ;-)

Cool.. I'm looking to buy a decent power system and trying to figure out if I can get main gears and main shafts stateside...

Yes, I got the patent on the "plane of terra firma six feet inside loop radius" idea. Don't worry, no royalties necessary unless you find a commercial application. Then I get 10%!

I think Buzz got his for "sand it in half on the sidewalk".

Rotor has "mortar-shot"

Surf, what are you fussing about, I thought you'd submitted application for "head-on into cinder block"??

But heck guys, there's lots more *really* interesting maneuvers still around. I can give you ideas any weekend!

Back to copter x, I'd sure like to hear a test report...
