She's having a seizure

Here I was just minding my own business, setting pitch and throttle curves when I noticed that the red light on the Gy401 was showing a steady slow blink. I shut the heli off and on to reset. I this point I noticed the beginnigs of a tonic clonic seizure approaching. I moved a stick or two, then came the full on convulsions. Every servo moving here and there fully independant of their neighbors. I changed batteries, no change. What just happened and how is it fixed?

First, I'd suspect radio interference from another transmitter on your channel, ESPECIALLY if you are using PPM (FM). Next in order of impact would be bearing failure somewhere on the machine, also more noticeable in PPM (FM).
If you still haven't Identified the source from either of the two suggestions above, look to your receiver wire being broken, servo wires chafed (slightly cut), or routing of your wiring near or against other electronics or bearing supports, including the clutch.
You didn't state if you range checked afterwards with engine off then on (idle).
Just for curiousity, what TX/ RX, servos, and machine are you flying? Can you duplicate the voltage of the TX/ RX and post this info as well?
FYI; when asking to diagnose an issue, more info is always better than not enough! :D

The radio is an Airtonics RD8000. I flew it earlier in the day with no problems. I was working on it that night setting curves. I had been working on it with no anomilies for about 10 min. when the problems began. I checked the antenna and found not problems. I even disconnected the gyro that had no effect. This morning I powered it up. It had one little jump on a servo, and I get no response to any control stick input. It behaves as if it died.

Check the reciever crystal!
Normally you will tape these in place or vibration will cause them to fall out.
Hopefully this is it, and you dodged a BIG bullet, I almost crashed one, and destroyed another due to this.
