TREX 600 SKIDS

Question for the guys that use these skids.

Are they direct fit or have you got to drill 4 new holes.

a little enlarging of the holes to the inside is neccisary,
A little vile will do the trick, at least for me it did

As for the skidz, when ya want to mount trex 600 skids,
get the 600N skids, not as high and wide and look way better,

search for H60111 or/and H60126 on readyheli

You just need to open out the holes slightly into slots - about 2mm per side.

Yeh mine too! You may remember Ben and I go for the 'two birds in the air at the same time stunt' which, due to the lack of a flight plan or ATC ended in tears...mine as usual!

I am thinking of doing my canopy in leather with a bikers leather cap, some chains and a large bushy moustache...what do you think?

well.. when the 600 first came out, it came with the black standard skids and the white 3D skids.. it wasn't until recently that they introduced the "new" 3D skids that are more angular.. guess people in the align nation got upset that their beloved 600 had skids that looked just raptor skids.. all I know is, if they ever decide to stop making the original style skids, I'll make sure to buy some raptor skids, just because it has a wider stance... wider is better

OUCH... thanks Bob... Geez I tried zo hard not to...

The photo doesnt do it any good, IRL it hurts your eyes because
the paint is Fluor Yellow and Fluor orange, with sunlight its really visible
but on the photo it looks lame.

As for the wider stance guys, I agree, only with the 3D skids
its allready a bit wider then the stock Gaui,
I also had those on there, but i thought they were a little to wide
for the hurri, Its a nice sleak heli and those made her look like a crab

yeah bro.give me a couple of minutes.hard case how i got them i bought some 600 legs but they didn't have any skids.....so was racing round on a sat afternoon trying to buy some tube to make my own and having utterly no luck.drove past a place that makes water heaters for spa pools etc and thought 'they might have some ally tube lying round....'.but they didn't cause they use titanium! bugger......
