Hi All:
I heve had to change the bearings in my gear set because of bad gear teeth, an driving the bearing in is chancy at best. I broke a new gear that way. So I got busy and made an inexpensive gear press, total price is under $15. If you want to make one for your self here is how.
Tools (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=1635) and parts needed:
One, 3” C-clamp
One, one way bearing removal tool. (http://www.ushobbysupply.com/product_info.php?cPath=52&products_id=360&osCsid=f8b77281951f12fd38856c354e655a4a) for T-rex (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=5320) 450, found at USHOBBYSUPPLY.COM (http://www.ushobbysupply.com/index.php?cPath=31_38&osCsid=f8b77281951f12fd38856c354e655a4a).
JB Weld epoxy
Dremel rotary tool with cone, and drum grinding tools.
Directions:
Using the grinding tools on the Dremel, expand the top opening of the male one way tool to fit the tall shoulder of the bearing gear.

Level the bottom of the C-clamp so that you have a straight line push through the bearing with the screw (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=1636) end of the C-clamp.

Pre heat your oven to 200 degrees F. No I am not joking!!
Mix up a small amount of JB Weld, apply to the bottom of the C-clamp and then place the female unmodified end of the bearing tool into the epoxy.
Insert the female end into the tool and close the C-clamp loosely re-center the assembly, then apply firm pressure to the screw of the clamp to hold the tool in place while curing.
Place the C-clamp in the 200 degree oven for 2 minuets. Remove and allow to cool.
Open the C-clamp, mix another small amount of epoxy and apply to the screw end of the C-clamp. Place the male end of the bearing tool onto the screw end of the C-clamp
52920
Close the C-clamp firmly allowing the male end to go into the female opening, this will facilitate correct alignment. Bake for 5 minutes.
Remove and cool to room temp. The tool is finished and ready to use.
52921
When using the press do not forget to lubricate the one way bearing on the outside before installation this will make the process much easier. It will not affect the security of the bearing in the mount.
Also before first use lubricate the entire thread length on the C-clamp
