Scale Fuselage?

Has anybody ever attemted to put a Heliartist 500D fuselage on the blade 400? Just wondering if it could be done. That would be way Cool

Anything that fits the trex450 fits the blade that I have found.

I don't see why not. I wanted to do the same, when I was thinking to myself I'll never be able to that tricky stuff.
I also wanted to add the 5 blade head to make it more of a scale heli. That in itself introduces problems with stability and handling.
I don't know how it would handle with all that extra weight.

I have installed a Align 500e Fuselage on my Blade 400 3d, easy to install and fly's great.

I just bought the Heliartist hughs 500D Painted up like the Army OH-6. It does fit, but you will need to do some dremel work around the rotor head. The Blade sits up about an inch higher in the fuselage than a T-rex, so the swash plate hits the fuselage. A little dremel work and she will fit. I'm actually in a toss over putting my blade into this fuselage or just bitting the bullet and buying a T-rex 450 SEv2 for it.:arggg:

Basically I bought the body with the intent to install the b400 into it. But after seeing some pics of the B400 in it, I don't personally like how high she sits. ITs not that big of a deal, but I just think the T-rex fits better. Who knows, I am so flip floppy on this decision I may wind up changing my mind again. :YeaBaby:

Felt, you MUST put your Blade in it since that is why you bought it. Then, you can certainly buy another heli and body. But your Blade 1st! :YeaBaby:

My fuselage should be here in a day or so, I plan on doing a build thread on putting the blade mech, in the heliartist fuse. So be looking for it. There will be plenty of pics as i go along.
