The head install is going along well. The first 'issue' was the 4mm Jesus bolt was missing, and the two side 3mm bolts seemed a little short. All were sourced from new spares, no big deal, but it did seem a little odd.

I was doing some research on which holes to use on the flybar, and mixing arm when I came across a post that said there should be either a 2mm droop or 2 degree droop of the control arms. As a newbie upgrader this was not apparent. I did notice that the setscrews for the fly bar control arms were not in-line with the ball ends.. IE this pic from Jim's post.

Are there better instructions for setting up this head on a Raptor somewhere? I'm trying to figure out which holes to stick things into :-)

As I see it, there is a total of 16 different ratios that can be achieved to connect the swash plate, flybar, and mixing lever to the blade grip
The double ball post can screw into 1 of two holes on the see saw.
The singe ball on the mixer can screw into one of two holes connected to the double ball
The link from the swash to the mixer can screw into one of two holes
finally I can select one of two balls on the double ball link. That's 4^2 or 16 ratios. Actually, considering it would be possible to flip the grips I guess it's really 32 possible ratios, but I'll constrain it to leading edge control as indicated in the pictures :-)

Considering how "Oh My Gawd" sloppy my stock plastic raptor 60 head was compared to this Kasama head. Combining this info into the fact that I don't do 3D yet, any suggestions on where I should put the various links?

One thing I would like is a faster cyclic response than I had on the stock head. (for reference, the stock head took 3 seconds to do a full 360 degree back flip.)

Also, looking at the pictures some more, would there ever be a time when I would select one of the double ball links, but not move the other end of the dog bone link?

Honestly, I have visions of my first flight looking like I'm flying the Lunar Landing Flight Simulator from the early Apollo days..
