First, let me say I dig this heli. I built this for the guys at my LHS and I'm thinking about buying it from them, but I'm not sure about needing a 4th heli atm (besides, what would the fiancé say?)

Issue number 1 is it's TAIL HEAVY. We took it out just to hover it the other day after getting it all together and it really wants to float backwards. I maxed out forward trim and it was still coming back. Then, we strapped THREE batteries from my 450 on the front and it still tilted backwards when we'd lift it off the bench by the flybar. I think I could literally strap a brick to the front and it would still be tail heavy (but this puppy could FLY with a brick up front.:))

Issue number 2 is vibration. The boom struts look like they are going to vibrate off. I think I just need to balance the tail blades? I've not done that and she's vibratin' like a mo-fo.

Yup first thing is to check everything for balance.
I have had High end name brand blades out of balance right out of the package, I check everything.

I check my CG by holding the heli sideways, like in a knife edge, by the head, set the boom parallel to the ground and see which way it drops. Using the flybar is way to inaccurate.
Do you have a painted canopy on there?
Canopies are a lot of nose weight.
I have a 4000mah 4 cell Duralite Li-Ion pack up front and my 90 is nose heavy.
