I've tried doing a search for this info but couldn't seem to find anything so apologies if this has been posted before.
I'm currently installing the flybarless head on my Logo 600 3D and having some isues finding the correct length of the rods that connect the swash to the blade grips.
I have three sets of instructions here, which include the original L600 manual, the actual flybarless head leaflet and an updated .pdf manual from the net. The leaflet that came with the head doesn't state what the length should be but the original L600 manual has it as 45mm. However this original manual illustrates a different assembly to what was provided with the kit.
The updated .pdf manual illustrates the assembly and components correctly, however it indicates the rods should be 41mm. Problem is I can only get them down to 45mm.
Is 45mm ok?

45mm is the correct length. That is what the most current instructions that come with a V-Bar 600 kit show. I am running two V-Bars at 45mm (a 500 and a 600), and the geometry of the head is fine.

Thanks for the fast reply Dave. I'll stick with 45mm then :).
This is the updated Logo 600 manual that had me confused (page14):

I'll keep you posted on progress. I plan on using the HC rigid.

I installed the flybarless head but now I seem to have a fairly severe head wobble. I'm not used to adjusting the flybaless head and wondering what I should be looking to adjust.

can you describe the wobble for us.
If you pull/push directly up and down on the head do you feel any movement? This would suggest your locking collar above your bearing block is not low enough.
If you hold the main shaft and put lateral motion on the headblock do you feal movement? This would suggest your upper jesus bolt or locking bolt (at the bottom of the headblock) are not tight enough.
If the above do not show signs of movement apply lateral and vertical force to your grips while holding the headblock. If the movement is there this could indicate your main yoke isn't secured properly or your grip may not be shimmed/spaced correctly.
Also try holding the grip steady and wiggling the blade to see if you movement is in the blade grip itself.
A better description of the wobble will help us better diagnose the issue.

Cheers Dynamic :). This will all be excellent reference for future builds.
I dug around the head and discovered the feathering spindal was extremely tight. I'm using green K&B dampners with one stock mikado dampner per side, which got me thinking. So I took the feathering spindle out and applied PTFE grease to free up the friction between the dampeners and spindle.
Obvisouly the spindle was too tight before and couldn't adequately centre itself because I just got back from a test flight and oh my god, SMOOOOTH as silk!!! This would have to be without a doubt the smoothest machine I've ever flown.
I can't believe I ever delayed converting to flybarless, this is awesome!

Yeah, the cost of stabilisation is pretty steep. I'm using the Helicommand Rigid with external 401 tail gyro. It was a little cheaper than going the VBar route and includes horizontal stabilisation, which was a must have for Aerial Photography. I had a Gyrobot on order but it appears these are having a few teething problems.
HC Rigid was fiddly to setup but works just fine :).
