Hey all,
Last week I thought it would be fun to get some video of my HPFP flying indoors to show how stable it is with my custom long flybar and extended skid legs.

what do you think?
Anybody got vids of theirs landing on difficult areas?

Nice flying Mike!
What are you running on this FP's setup? It sounds to me like your running a bit higher headspeed that I'm running here.
I have two soldiers that are learning the FP right now, they are flying in the conference room, it's to windy for them to learn outside.
I have ordered some Slo Max motors, 9T, 10T pinions, and M24 blades once they get to a point of steady hover to assist them flying outside in the wind.....

Clipped main blade roots.
You know that area on the trailing edge of the main blade, next to the blade grip, that points down and comes to a point? Well, I took about 1/4" off of the trailing edge using dial calipers and a bench grinder.
Increased head speed and increased stability. Expecially when coming down into the wind on low throttle.
The custom extra long flybar rod I cut/made is also a contributing factor.
Other than that, just a lot of balancing and setup/tuning.
It's currently for sale, in the for sale section.
If I was to keep it, I'd put an 11v lipo battery in there.
But she has to go to a good home.
Someone buy her

Well, I have myself and two other soldiers here who are flying HBFP's. I have put some orders in for some new blade combinations / motors / pinions / CF frames.
I don't have the workbench here to trim stuff down accurately...
Once I get everything swapped to the CF frame, install the Slo-Max, and DD tail, I think everything will line up nicely with the new M24's I have on the way. We fly inside because it's just to windy to try and learn outside. Maybe the upgrades will allow some outside hovering and practice.....
