Sorry guys but these different Balance taps are really confusing for a newb to lipos......
how do I tell which batteries I can balance charge on my 610c...I don't see any advice on TP site
looking at air thunder 6s 5000 packs.or Kong power packs.....will it work on the stock adapter
You will have to look at the packs that you have and check to see what type of balance tap they use. The ones on the charger are known as TP (Thunder Power) taps.

I am using the Air Thunder 6s 5000mah with the 610c. It plugs right in on the 6s spot on the balance board. The balance board accepts both Thunder Power style and Air Thunder style balance plugs. I don't think there is a need to purchase an additional adapter.
