Looking good, now head on over to the park and spin that bugger up!

I finally made it over to the park on Thursday only to find that there was a Soccer Camp parked on the entire pitch; what do they think this place is, a PUBLIC PARK or something?!? Jerkies! So I had to just fly around my parking lot as usual, BORING! I want to take her out and open her up finally, it hovers and handles so easy, time to ZIP!

Keep us up to date and Happy Flying!

Thanks guys. As soon as this 6s pack balances out I'm off to the park. First pack was perfect right out of the "box". Second pack was [EDIT] 3.84, 3.84, 3.84, 3.84 3.75, 3.70
Wish I had an E-Station PB-6. I have a PB-5 and they are excellent balancers. Very fast.

The Maxpro charger is pretty slow when it comes to balancing. :dontknow

I'll get some better pics too.

btw the canopy does not fit over these batteries. Lifts the nose by about 1/2". I have to extend the lower canopy mount by about the same to make it. I might just cut a couple holes in the canopy to let the battery corners stick out. :thinking

Yes was ready this am but I'm beat. Feel like I drank too much vodka lastnight, even though I had none. lol.

First flight! Ran into some issues but I did get her in the air.
2 connectors I didn't check had issues. :DOH
2 deans had "flat" connectors. Bent them back.
The esc to bec connection would move and loosen up very easily. Zipties.
I didn't have the tail housing tight enough. Began to rotate on the first hover attempt. Cranked it down.
I had to give forward trim which I'm sure is due to my links being off. I'll reset the head/links.

Started putting together the CHP CF Frames:

I just hovered for a minute and then landed. Pretty solid but I have to get the head trimmed right before I can really comment.

Once in a blue moon Readyheli has these frames in stock:

Direct to swash rather than the links. Have to use 9650 sized servos with it.
Someone elses pics:

So that wasn't the end of the bad connections

I found a loose solder joint on the BEC board. I'm surprised I didn't end up in a bad situation.
All good now. Re-soldered and rewired I now have some confidence in my heli.
