Hello guys....

I have an OS 37 and I am currently using 15% cool power. I am doing some basic 3d now. I am gonna get a hatori pipe for extra power, running carbon blades... Should I get now 20% or 30%, yes, not, why????

The guy at the LHS told me once that 15% should be always enough....

i would just save up and upgrade to a .50

the r30 with a tuned pipe and 30% nitro fuel still lacks power. you have to manage you collective and cyclic just to not bog the head speed down.

fly what you have for now and upgrade to a 50 when you can.

It depends on where you are in the country ( sea level etc) My .37 loves coolpower 30% Hi-Performance heli. also the .30 size helis need all the power boost they can get, i actually managed to pull of some stationary flips and rolls this weekend with my R30V2.
the trick is to crank up the head speed, and pitch management. You'd be surprised what that .37 will do.

yes, the .37 LOVES nitro. make sure you richen it up a good bit, the extra nitro will lean her out, however once you get it tuned you'll see the engine runs smoother and cooler due to the extra oil in the fuel and the richer mixture/higher nitro.:thumbup:

While on the topic of nitro - I buy 30% at a local hobby shop and on my last 3 trips the price per gallon has gone up from $28 to $36 and Saturday I paid $46...

Am I getting royally ripped off or is anybody else seeing this crazy run up in prices...

I'm sure the price of oil will drive up nitro prices but nearly double?
