here is a vid of cut scenes from 3 batteries and 3 different places at the local schoolyard this morning. cam mount was balanced today and flew pretty great overall. need to work on smoother movements, but i keep forgetting theres a camera on board when im flying. just gunna take some time i guess.
going to work on yet another mount... the latest mount is showing vibration in the video soooo i am looking at it from a different angle now. hopefully the next one will work better.

heh! yeah it helps to have the heli balanced before flying. its still hard to keep it stable especially when it is high up. hard to see small differences in attitude from a distance. i can see how having a larger bird would help quite a bit.

i intend to get it into some weird places... this is only my 3rd time with a camera, and ive only been flying the b400 (my first heli) a couple months if that. i cant wait to get it down to the beach... and up next to cliffs around here. there is also some cool places i know of that i offroad up to that would be cool to fly out over really high up places. ive flown them with my electric flying wings, but never with a camera.
ps. i have the newest model of the contraption about done. if the wind dies down ill test it this evening. otherwise itll be tomorrow evening. going out tonight so wont be up early to fly. sunday sucks for flying around here anyhow. too many people...

Another great video. Seems to be less vibration also.
Are you still using the stock RX? AR6100e

they'd never notice the loud flying contraption aimed at them! better off just going next door. :YeaBaby:

less vibration for sure, but still not clear. sooo, i am scrapping the foamie project till i can spend some time getting the materials to create a mount that will replace the existing landing gear altogether. hoping to start material finding this week.
everything is stock except the servos.
