Just bought the following items and wanted to check in prior to plugging in.

AC to DC Power Adapter

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2552558&cp=

Adaptaplug "m"

Already got my answer from another site, but good to know if anyone else is interested.

No. If you are using the standard 8-cell NiCd or NiMh battery pack, it will hold a nominal charge of 9.6 v. That is because Nixx cells are rated at 1.2V per cell. But an 8-cell pack should be at a peak charge of 10.2-to-10.4 volts right after the pack is charged.
That charger is only capable of providing 9.0 volts, so it will NEVER be able to fully charge the battery pack NOR even get your battery up to the nominal charge of 1.2V/cell.
