hey today i changed out my flybar to a trex 600 and put the green paddles on and as i was doing some tic tocs close in i heard the motor sputtering like it was out of gas and also noticed a power drop. as it got closer i kept hearing it so i landed but found nothing wrong. as i put the new batteries on i noticed one of my deans had come loose on my esc... just a warning to check over your helis often to avoid crashes... luckily the shrink wrap held it in place and i was able to land safely...

Thats why we all need to practice Autos.....it must have taken me 10 hrs on the sim before I really got good at it....(old farts take longer)(then we forget !)

But your right.....one of the bad things about electric, is we just fly, replace battery, fly again....we don't check things maybe as much as we should, but I know i am always tinkering with it....and something like a broken solder joint can happen at any time.
