Hi!

I think ACE RC DS 1015 are better.

torque: 14.5 /201.4
Transit time :0.108 at 6v.
All metal gear.

The 8711 are very high torque servo, without the speed. 8717s are more suitable.

superyan711, JR 8717@6v 196oz/in and 0.07s/60degree, 5oz of torque lower than a ds1015, but way much faster.

I second that. the 8711 are great in a 25% plane and up. 8717 are the way to go for helis. In a ccpm setup the 8717 has over 588 onces of torque(36.75 pounds). Along with that you get .07 transit:YeaBaby:. Plus there jr:thumbup:.

Dont want to forget the fact they can run on 8 volts(i've got a mouth running 8 on them:wow2:amazing is all i can say).

definitely 8717s, they have way more torque than you need and wicked fast. 8711s have useless torque, and are to slow for heli cyclic .15 the 8711's are made for large or giant scale planes where only torque matters
